Bought this along with an LG range from Lowes about a month ago. Had it installed by Lowes. So far its been a good little microwave. The only negative things are that there is no auxiliary timer and the display LEDs are not the same color as the LG range I bought.

18 months after purchase the override that shuts the unit off when the door is open stopped working. Now if we open the door the microwave continues to operate dangerous. Warranty is 12 months so now it is repair or replace and a service call would cost nearly as much as a new microwave. You can be certain the new one will not be another LG.

I love my new LG Microwave. It is so simple to operate. I only wanted the basics and not all the options for cooking. I love everything about this unit except: 1 The grease filter is the worst ever Does not filter grease. It blows the grease all over upper cabinet and doors. I have to wash the VISIBLE grease off of my upper cabinets regularly Never had to do this with my old Kenmore unit. 2 As this replaced my range hood the blower lacks the power to pull the steam from the front burners. Thats kind of where one needs it the most to keep the steam out of your face. 3 Clearly not a thought out design. Perhaps LG can find a COOK to help with future designs. I wash the filter in hot water and Dawn and can see how little grease it actually filters. It is because of this incredibly poor filter venting that I did not give this unit more stars. So long as you dont mind regularly cleaning your cabinets and ceiling this is a great unit for you.

I bought this a month ago and installed it in about an hours time. Choices that need to be made for auto defrost reheat and soften are labeled as numbers rather than written out so need a cheat sheet nearby until you memorize what each number represents. The dark interior hides food splatter but also makes it harder to see inside. All in all I feel it was a great buy and exactly what we were looking for.

We were needing to replace our previous LG microwave that we had for 8 years. Wanted to keep things simple by staying with LG. We were able to use the existing mounting bracket that was already in place. Which made the re-installation quick easy. Plus the keypad functions were similar to our previous LG oven familiar to us. The Energy Saver Button to turn OFF the display when not is use is a nice feature.

I decided to buy this LG product after the previous competitors microwave only lasted 36 months however Im regretting that decision because this microwave is extremely loud. Not just annoyingly loud but disturbingly loud. Pause the TV and hold off on that phone conversation if youre running the microwave. Other than that it cooks like its supposed to but I just cant get over the noise.

I just installed this microwave this morning and so far it works good. The two drawbacks are the black interior which makes it very hard to see. The bulb isnt very bright due to the interior color. Also I cannot heat up a coffee cup on the rotating tray with the rack installed. The rack is too low so it is in the wayThis is why I could only give four stars.

Purchased a few weeks ago along with 3 other appliances. I had an LG better model selected but at last minute changed to this ON SALE cheaper model. mistake. Looks good..... but.... it says there is a timer Ihave read the owners manual and have gone on line and followed instuctions from both and like others have stated can not get it to function without the fan on. There is also no on/off control for the turn table. I should have stayed with my first LG microwave selection.

Puts Samsung to shame

I previously bought a Samsung microwave becuase I was on a budget. I have lg appliances in my other property and should have spent the extra money. Samsung microwave blew up 9 months later while the lg at my other property is 10 years old and going strong. This microwave works awesome and is quiet so I can use it when others are sleeping. Go with lg you wont be sorry.
